Tri Phan

Managing Director, Product Management

Tri Phan is the Managing Director for Product Management at Trusted Integration, Inc. and has continued to apply his 20 years of information security experience to elevate risk and compliance solutions for Federal government and commercial organizations. He currently oversees the software engineering of TrustedAgent. He is responsible for developing TrustedAgent engineering standards and processes, developing requirement and feature specifications, scheduling software releases, and overseeing the software engineering, content and quality assurance group within Trusted Integration.

Tri has intimate knowledge in Federal government legislation and governing standards including the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), NIST Risk Management Framework, DIACAP, NIST Special Publications on information security, and other security and privacy regulations and directives including COBIT, COSO, NERC CIP, PCI DSS, PDD 63 and the Privacy Act of 1974.

He is an active participant in various information security and professional association including Infraguard, NERC, ISACA, and AFCEA. He is an active member of several Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IASAC) including Financial Services ISAC, Information Technology ISAC, Electric Sector ISAC, and Nuclear ISAC. Tri has also guest lectured on information security at George Washington University. He has a bachelor in Computer Science from NC State University (NCSU) and a Master in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University (GMU). He currently resides in Springfield, VA with his wife and family.

Tuan Phan

Managing Director, Risk and Compliance

Tuan Phan is Managing Director for Risk and Compliance where he has been responsible for business development and technical deployments of TrustedAgent GRC for several government agencies and commercial enterprises. With over 15 years in highly-regulated drug and medical device industries in technical leadership and management, he brings a unique and practical blend to enhance clients' cybersecurity planning, implementation and management of risks within complex and highly regulated climate.

Prior to Trusted Integration, Tuan held leadership roles as Director of Manufacturing Engineering, and as Director of Validation and Regulatory Affairs for Fortune 500 companies including Boston Scientific Corporation, Sage Products, and Teleflex Medical Group, and consulted to major pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device companies within US, Latin America, Europe and Asia. He led and participated in several FDA pre-PMA and ongoing inspections, ISO certification reviews, and internal and external audits.

Having sat on 'both sides of the table', Tuan understands the challenges of achieving regulatory compliance and managing risks across an enterprise, and leverages the experience to assist Trusted Integration's clients. Tuan has presented at several FDA-regulated industry conferences including IQPC, IVT, and authored numerous articles on GRC, policies, validation and testing of information systems and processes for compliance to several FDA-regulated standards including 21 CFR Part 11, Part 210, Part 211, and Part 820.

Tuan is an active member of ISACA, ISA, OCEG, and AFCEA. Tuan has a bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University. Tuan also possesses a Black Belt Six-Sigma certification from Motorola University.
