Description:
We currently have a need for an experienced Project Manager with
Information Assurance experience. The candidate must have or be able to
obtain a Government security clearance (and pass a government
background check). This opportunity is located in Alexandria, Virginia,
and will require relocation.
The position encompasses two main functionalities: account management
and project management with the ability to work the total life cycle of
a project. As project manager, the person will be required to
facilitate the implementation of a FISMA related, information security
suite of tools. This individual will work with federal government
customers on a daily basis, as well as internal staff and others
external to the organization, to manage all implementation activities.
The ability to lead and manage meetings and to be able to gather all
applicable details as they relate to the elements and issues of a
project is imperative. Communication skills are critically important
(verbal, written, and presentation). The project manager will be
required to prepare and deliver customer briefings/presentations on a
variety of topics to include status updates, technical
issues/solutions, and schedule timelines. There may be travel to
customer locations and other facilities on occasion. A Bachelor’s
degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience is required (includes
significant project management experience and in-depth knowledge of PMI
Project Management knowledge areas). Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to drive and meet aggressive deadlines, develop detailed schedules, and be detail-oriented
- Expert skills in MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Hands-on Project Management (required); PMP certification (preferred)
- Account Management (required)
- FISMA and C&A (preferred)
- Information Security (CISM, or CISSP (preferred)
- Knowledge of TrustedAgent is a plus; or other FISMA/C&A tools
- Risk Management experience (preferred)
